Corrections Policy
Please review our policies and terms carefully.
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Kenya Ni Home is committed to accurate, fair and accountable journalism. We correct significant factual errors promptly and transparently when credible evidence shows that a published story is inaccurate, incomplete in a materially misleading way, or wrongly attributed.
Requesting a correction
Email newsroom@kenyanihome.com with the subject line “Correction Request” and include:
the article URL and headline;
the exact statement you believe is inaccurate;
the correction you are requesting;
reliable supporting documents, links or evidence; and
your name, role or relationship to the matter, and contact details.
We assess requests on their merits. We may contact sources, review records and seek a response from the writer or editor. A disagreement with an opinion, analysis, headline style or editorial judgment is not necessarily a factual error, but we will consider it fairly.
What we may do
Depending on the nature and seriousness of an issue, we may update the article, add a clarification, correct the headline or caption, publish a correction note, append an editor’s note, or remove content where correction is not sufficient. Significant corrections will normally be clearly identified on the article. Routine spelling, grammar or formatting changes may be made without a correction note.
We aim to acknowledge correction requests promptly and resolve straightforward matters quickly. Complex matters may require more time. Submitting a request does not guarantee a correction or removal, and corrections are not admissions of legal liability.
We welcome good-faith feedback. Abusive, threatening, repetitive or unsupported requests may not receive a substantive response.
Transparency Commitment
Kenya Ni Home believes trust is earned through clear sourcing, accurate reporting, visible corrections and honest separation of journalism from advertising. We identify sponsored content, correct meaningful errors, disclose conflicts where relevant and welcome evidence-based feedback from readers.
